Welcome to the South Side School Alumni Reunion (Hookstown PA) website for graduating classes from 1957 thru 1996.  We also have a facebook page under the same name and years.  The purpose is to let us reconnect as classmates and friends, both online and in person at our reunion on Saturday September 26, 2026  at the Hookstown fairgrounds. 

 

There will not be a reunion in 2027 and will resume in September of 2028 and be held on even years on going.

 

It is only $10 per attendee thru July 31, 2026  Info to purchase tickets is under event section below.

Please visit our Facebook page as there is more information and responses from classmates on that site including interaction from alumni talking about when we went to school up to current events. 

If you would like to be a representative for your specific graduating class, please let us know.  You would just need to be available during setup (noon till two pm)  on the day of event and have arrange your classmates  to man your tent/area thruout the day.  

We are also looking for volunteers the day of the reunion to help us out for an hour or two with registration, parking, etc. We will be doing setup the evening of Friday September 25 and cleanup on the morning of Sunday September 27.  Please let one of our committee members know if you would like to help.

Picnic

Multi year (1957 thru 1996) alumni class reunion Saturday September 26 from 2 pm to 10 pm at the Hookstown Fairgounds

Registration starts at 2 pm and will continue till 6 pm. Everyone is welcome to come as early as they would like and come and go as you please throughout the day.  We do need everyone to PREREGISTER so we can make up name badges and plan other things during the day ahead of time.  Cost until July 31, 2026 is $10 per graduate and $10 per guest.  You can visit our Facebook page South Side School  Alumni Reunion Hookstown PA (1957 - 1996)  and use the ZEFFY link. You can also mail in your payment or use the drop box at the old Elliotts market. Day of the event will be CASH only, but we recommend buying your tickets ahead of time to make it quicker at registration. More information for payments is listed below. 
 
 There will be food trucks on site from 3 pm to 8 pm so you can purchase what you would like to eat at whatever time you would choose.  We also encourage everyone to bring a camp chair which will allow you to move around and visit with others.  Feel free to bring outdoor games like cornhole or inside boardgames to pass the time with your friends and classmates. You can also bring a popup tent and your favorite beverage. There will be plenty of room for pop up tents as well. 

Please send any preregistration  by mail to Emily Soisson Allison and include NAME,Graduation year, phone number and email address.  If bringing a guest include if they graduated from South Side and the year of graduation.

You can also use the lock box located at the old Elliotts market  across from the fairgrounds that is attached to the side of the egg stand.  The forms are beside the lock box and more are inside the stand. The lock box will be emptied every night.

Dance Party

We will have background music playing all day on the main stage for your enjoyment.  If anyone would like to volunteer to play dance music in the evening, please let us know.  You are welcome to use our sound system.

About us

We are a group of South Side graduates ranging from 1968 to 1993 that came together to help unite our  classmates in a setting to be able to reminisce and get to know each other again.  It is great to have our own specific class reunions, but we all had friends that were ahead or behind us in school as well as those that hung around with our siblings and we wanted to be able to catch up with everyone.
